一种低副瓣锐截止波束赋形相控阵天线设计

摘 要 本文设计了一种一维相扫平面相控阵天线,水平面口径分布采用Taylor分布,俯仰面口径分布根据辐射方向图低副瓣、锐截止特性要求,采用优化方法实现波束赋形设计。四位数字移相器控制波束以200000/s的速率、0.20扫描步进实现水平面±400范围往返扫描。实测表明,天线增益25dB,水平面3dB波束宽度2.90,±400扫描范围内副瓣低于-20dB、波束宽度小于3.90;俯仰面波束赋形,3dB波束宽度110,水平面锐截止5.83dB/度,副瓣低于-20dB,天线口径尺寸相比同类天线口径尺寸减小38%,具有体积小,重量轻,机动性好的特点。

Design of compact phased array antennas with pattern shaping of low sidelobe and sharp cutoff

Abstract: A plane phased array antennas have been implemented. The current distribution of element antenna in azimuth plane,which is scan plane,adopted Taylor distribution. Optimizing method is used to design the current distribution of array antenna elements in the elevation, which is non-scan plane, in terms of the pattern shaping requirements. 4-bit digital phase shifters are used to control the scanning-beam at a rate of 20000 deg·s-1 with intervals of 0.2 deg in a range of ±40deg on the azimuth.. The measurement results show that the gain is 25dB. On the azimuth, half power beamwidth is 2.9 deg, sidelobe is lower than -20dB and half power beamwidth is less than 3.9 deg in ±40 deg scanning range. On non-scan plane, the elevation, the half power beamwidth of the pattern shaping is 11 deg, the sharp cutoff on the horizon is 5.6dB·deg-1, the sidelobes are less -20dB. The size of the phased array antennas is 38% smaller than regular ones. It has the characteristic of compact size, light weight, and good mobility.

摘 要 基于时间反演电磁波的远场超分辨聚焦特性,研究了几种亚波长天线阵列,其天线单元刻蚀有微结构、间距为二十分之一波长、信道相互独立,从而为基于时间反演的高速率、高质量多天线通信系统提供了紧凑、有效的终端天线阵列。

两种具有全向方向图的水平极化天线阵列

摘 要 本文介绍了两种两种具有全向方向图的水平极化天线阵列。第一种天线阵列采用人工电磁材料设计。通过利用零阶传输线作为辐射单元,在保证全向辐射的同时提高了磁偶极子的辐射阻抗,提高了辐射效率。利用4个这样的单元在磁偶极子的轴线方向进行组阵,就实现了全向、水平极化的高增益方向图。第二种天线以旋转场为理论基础,利用90度间隔传输线,同时实现了天线阻抗的自匹配和旋转场的相位要求。该天线是漏波天线的一种,尤其适合于高增益天线的设计。

Two Horizontally Polarized Antenna Arrays with Omni-directional Patterns

Abstract: Two horizontally polarized antenna arrays are introduced in the paper. Both of them have omni-directional radiation pattern. One array adopts meta-material. By utilizing zero-order transmission line as the radiating element, the antenna increases the radiation impedance while maintains the omni-directional radiation pattern. Assemble four such elements along the axial direction into an array, omni-directional, horizontal polarization and high gain can be achieved simultaneously. The other array takes the idea of rotation field. By utilizing 90 degree separated transmission line, the antenna impedance can be self-matched and the phased requirement of rotation field can also be satisfied. The second antenna array is a leaking structure, which is especially suitable for high gain antenna design.

VSAT和USAT站天线性能设计目标

摘 要 本文简述了VSAT和USAT站天线的基本特点及应急卫星通信中的天线技术。依据ITU建议和IESS标准,系统总结了VSAT和USAT站天线性能的设计目标,即天线方向图的旁瓣特性要求、交叉极化特性要求和偏轴EIRP的要求。指出了旁瓣特性要求的局限性。最后,提出了VSAT和USAT站天线方向图第一旁瓣电平要求的建议。

Design Objects of Antenna for VSAT and USAT Earth Station

Abstract: In this paper, basic characteristics VSAT and USAT earth station antenna are described simply, and antenna technology for critical satellite communication. According to ITU recommendation and INTELSAT IESS standard, design objects of VSAT and USAT earth station antenna introduced systematically, side-lobe characteristic of antenna pattern, cross polarization characteristic of antenna, and characteristic of off-axis EIRP. Limitations of side-lobe characteristic requirement is pointed. At last, recommendation of antenna pattern first side-lobe level request is put forward for VSAT and USAT earth station.

阵列天线快速自适应波束形成技术研究

摘 要 数字波束形成(Digital Beamforming, DBF)天线系统以其在抗干扰、多波束等方面的独特优点在雷达、通信、声纳等领域得到越来越广泛的应用。我们针对大阵列天线自适应数字波束形成处理中算法运算量大、传输数据量大及系统性能受阵列非理想因素影响的问题,围绕分块并行、降秩和稳健处理等几个方面,对阵列天线快速自适应波束形成技术进行了研究。采用分块并行的方法来解决大阵列天线自适应数字波束形成中计算量和数据传输的瓶颈问题。提出了基于线性约束最小方差(Partitioned-Parallel Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance, PLCMV)准则的分块并行自适应DBF算法及其稳健递归算法(Partitioned-Parallel Robust Recursive LCMV, PRRLCMV)算法、基于最小均方误差准则的分块并行(Partitioned-Parallel Least Mean Square, PLMS)自适应波束形成算法,推导了权矢量方程的构造公式,给出了这些算法在分布式并行处理系统上的实现框图和实验结果。这些算法具有与传统LCMV或LMS算法相同的波束形成性能,且运算量小,可以应用于分布式并行处理系统来实现实时处理。其稳健算法还可以有效地校正天线主瓣指向误差,避免期望信号方向性矢量误差所带来的算法波束形成性能下降。提出了基于最小方差波束形成器(Minimum Variance Beamformer, MVB)的快速降秩自适应波束形成算法(Fast Reduced Rank MVB, FRRMVB),利用阵列接收的快拍数据来快速构造降秩矩阵中的干扰子空间。该算法具有实时性好,在小快拍数下仍有很好波束形成性能等特点。针对工程项目的需求,研制了收发DBF的数字阵列天线系统,给出了部分调试测试结果。

Fast Adaptive Beamforming Technique for Antenna Array

Abstract: Digital beamforming (DBF) technique can greatly improve the capability of interference suppression, and can conveniently form multi-beam. It is applied for many areas such as radar, communication sonar. For a large-scale adaptive array, heavy computational load and high-rate data transmission are two challenges in the implementation of an adaptive DBF system. Moreover, the large-scale array becomes extremely sensitive to array imperfections. In this paper, some research works have been introduced on fast digital beamforming technique, including: Partitioned-Parallel processing, reduced rank and robust processing. Some efficient Partitioned-Parallel or reduced rank DBF methods have been used to deal with the bottleneck of high-rate data transmission and reduce the computational cost. They are the Partitioned-Parallel Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance (PLCMV), Partitioned-Parallel Robust Recursive LCMV (PRRLCMV), Partitioned-Parallel DBF algorithm based on the least mean square algorithm (PLMS) and fast reduced rank adaptive beamforming based on minimum variance beamformer(FRRMVB). Implementation schemes of these algorithms based on a distributed-parallel-processing system are introduced. They have the same beam performance as their corresponding conventional algorithm, require less computational load, as well as are easier to be implemented for real time processing. A digital array antenna system is accomplished with transmission and receiving DBF technique. Some experimental results are given.

基于人工电磁材料的电磁波调控技术

摘 要 运用人工电磁材料的可设计性,合理设计材料的等效电磁参数,可实现对电磁波传播的灵活调控。本文通过一系列设计实例,首先介绍如何利用人工电磁材料和结构实现对电磁波的反射、吸收和极化的控制;其次介绍如何通过合理设计人工电磁材料的电磁参数,控制和改变电磁波的传播路径,从而实现针对电磁波的隐身和伪装结构,并探索人工电磁材料在电磁波调控技术中的应用前景。

Manipulating Electromagnetic Waves with Metamaterials

Abstract: With the ability of tailoring the electromagnetic response of metamaterials, the electromagnetic wave propagation can be manipulated as demanded through precise design of the electromagnetic parameters of the metamaterial. In this paper, we first show some design examples of how to control the reflection, the absorption or the polarization of electromagnetic waves. Then, we show other examples of how to manipulate the propagating route of electromagnetic waves to realize electromagnetic invisibility cloak and Camouflage.

差分进化算法及天线优化设计

摘 要 本文研究了基于差分进化(DE)算法的天线优化设计技术。文中提出了求解无约束和约束优化问题的多种混合差分进化(HDE)算法和求解0-1整数规划问题的布尔DE算法。采用HDE算法解决了某卫星天线正样辐射相位方向图多项式函数拟合问题,达到了系统所要求的相位拟合精度。采用无约束HDE算法优化设计了Yagi-Uda天线和宽带E形贴片天线,采用布尔DE算法优化设计了平面稀布阵天线,分别采用约束HDE算法和自适应HDE算法优化设计了不等间距直线阵。仿真和实测结果表明,基于改进DE算法的天线优化设计技术是十分有效的。

Differential evolution algorithms and optimal design for antennas

Abstract: Optimal design techniques for antennas based on the differential evolution (DE) algorithms have been studied in this paper. Several hybrid DE (HDE) algorithms for solving unconstrained and constrained optimization problems and a Boolean DE algorithm for solving 0-1 integer programming problems are proposed respectively. The HDE algorithm is used to solve successfully the phase polynomial fitting problems for a multi-beam satellite antenna, and the phase fitting accuracies required by the system have been achieved. The unconstrained DE algorithm is demonstrated on optimizing Yagi-Uda antennas and wideband patch antennas. The Boolean DE algorithm is applied to synthesize the planar thinned arrays. By utilizing the constrained and self-adaptive HDE algorithms respectively, the aperiodic linear arrays are optimized. Simulated and measured results demonstrate that the modified DE algorithms are very efficient for the antenna optimization.

摘 要 本文介绍了矩形波纹喇叭在赋形双弯曲反射面天线上的应用。由于其特殊的边界,矩形波纹喇叭不仅能得到俩种极化状态在同一平面的等化波束、减少漏射带来的高的效率,还能够通过调节波纹槽的深度使俩个正交极化波通过矩形口径时相速基本相同,得到良好的圆极化性能;还能够通过与反射面的综合设计,在不降低天线增益的情况下降低天线的副瓣电平。

低轮廓高性能集成天线研究进展

摘 要 本文系统回顾了国际上采用基片集成波导技术结合背腔天线结构实现低轮廓高性能集成天线的研究进展。通过采用周期性金属通孔阵列在普通介质基片上构造等效于传统金属腔体的背腔结构,结合平面馈电结构,实现了一系列具有线极化、圆极化、极化可重构、双多频、滤波辐射等不同特性的新型集成天线。这些新型集成天线既保留了传统金属背腔天线高效率高增益的高性能辐射特性,又兼具微带天线低轮廓低成本易加工可平面无缝集成的优点,具有良好应用前景。

Research Advances of Low Profile High Performance Integrated Antennas

Abstract: Low profile high performance integrated antennas constructed by substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology and cavity backed structures have been presented by our group and they have been extensively investigated by other international groups recently. Research advances of these novel antennas have been systematacially reviewed in this paper. A series of antennas for linear polarization, circular polarization, switchable polarization, multi-frequency and filtering radiation applications have been realized by using periodic metallized vias arrays to form the backed cavities at substrates. These novel antennas retain the advantages of conventional metallic cavity backed antennas, including high gains, high front-to-back ratios, and low cross polarization levels. Furthermore, they also possess the advantages of low profiles, light weights, low fabrication costs, and easy integration with planar circuits.

摘 要 本文从超短波宽频带相控阵天线的基本要求出发,提出了设计超短波宽频带相控阵天线的基本原则,研究了相控阵天线等效辐射功率、波束覆盖角等指标之间的关联性,给出了天线综合性能的评价方法,以及有关仿真和试验结果,为宽带相控阵天线的设计奠定了基础。

Research on V/UHF Wideband Phased-Array Antenna

Abstract: Based on the strict requirements of modern V/UHF wideband phased array antenna, the design principles of V/UHF wideband phased-array antenna is proposed, and the relationship of the array’s fundamental parameters, such as equivalent radiated power, beam coverage etc, is studied. The comprehensive assessment method, simulation and measured results are given. It lays a foundation for the design of wideband Phased array antenna.

左手媒质及其小型化天线与微波电路设计与应用

摘 要 近几年来,左手媒质被广泛应用于改善现有天线与微波器件的电磁性能,实现小体积、高增益、大带宽和低插损。本文在概述国内外左手媒质研究发展趋势的基础上,从左手媒质电磁特性激发机理出发,讨论了小型化左手媒质构造的设计、优化与仿真验证,重点介绍左手媒质在新型天线与微波器件领域的最新应用成果。通过提高SRR环间耦合电容所构造出的小型化左手媒质单元,其单元长度小至0.1个工作波长,使得左手媒质天线尺寸大大缩小。本报告通过优化设计和应用实例介绍了左手媒质改善贴片天线、喇叭天线、偶极子等类型天线性能。研究结果表明,利用左手媒质可以有效提高天线增益、缩小天线尺寸以及增大天线带宽。本文最后对左手媒质所构建的新型微波器件如小型化矩形波导、小型化谐振腔、可重构波导等,给出了数值仿真和实验测试的验证结果,肯定了左手媒质在天线与微波器件领域应用中所起到的特殊作用和效果。

Design and Applications to Antennas and Microwave Devices by Left-Handed Metamaterials

Abstract: In recent years, left-handed metamaterial (LHM) has been widely applied to improve electromagnetic performances of antennas and microwave devices and miniaturizes their physical size or occupied circuit area. In this presentation, after a briefly introduction to the research trend of LHM filed, excitation mechanism of LHM is studied. Moreover, design and verification of compact left-handed metamaterial (LHM) cell are discussed, and applications of LHM in antennas and microwave devices are investigated. Through increasing the coupling capacitance of SRR’s rings, a compact LHM cell is realized and verified by numerical simulations. It is shown that the minimum length of the LHM cell is only 0.1 wavelength. In our presentation, the important role of LHMs in improving antennas’ performance is stated by detailed design and application examples, such as novel patch antennas, horn antennas, and dipole antennas. Results show that the gain and bandwidth of these antennas are enhanced by LHMs, and their sizes are decreased. In addition, LHMs are also applied in design of miniaturized rectangular waveguide, miniaturized resonator cavity, and reconfigurable rectangular waveguide. Moreover, these metamaterial microwave devices are verified using simulations and experiments.

平面周期性结构的散射特性

摘 要 以平面周期性角锥阵列微波黑体以及平面天线阵列为例,采用Floquet 定理及空间谐波理论分析了周期性结构表面散射近场的构成,以及散射远场的形成过程;采用全波方法研究了阵列结构及阵列边缘对散射特性的影响,阐述了平面周期性阵列的散射机理;给出了周期性角锥黑体和天线阵列的散射场方向图,并对天线阵列的时域散射特性进行了分析。

Scattering Property of the Planar Periodic Structures

Abstract: The Floquet theorem and the theory of spatial harmonic are used to analyze the composition of the scattered near field of the microwave blackbody composed of planar pyramid array and the antenna array, and the formation of the scattered far field is then analyzed. The effect of the array parameters and the array edges on the scattering property is studied by the full wave method, and the scattering mechanism of the planar periodic array is presented. The scattering patterns of the pyramid array and the antenna array are given, and the time domain scattering property of the antenna array is analyzed.

Abstract: In this paper, the antenna scattering matrix is researched via the generalized eigenfuction expansion of dyadic Green function, and the basic theory of antenna scattering is established.

手机MIMO天线设计

摘 要 近些年来, 多输入多输出(MIMO)技术以其在容量和性能上的巨大潜能吸引了广大研究人员的关注,尤其是手机MIMO天线的设计。手机MIMO天线设计的难点在于:如何在小天线尺寸的要求下减小天线单元间的互耦,扩展天线的带宽。基于前期的研究工作,我们提出了几种适合用于手机系统中的MIMO天线:一种小型双频手机MIMO天线,该天线利用双带线结构改善阻抗带宽,采用地板隙缝和垂直的天线单元放置以减小地板表面波和天线近场引起的耦合; 一种小型宽带MIMO天线,该天线利用两个新型的弯折隙缝去减小天线间的互耦,同时还能扩展天线的阻抗带宽;一种小型的高隔离度三频四单元手机MIMO天线,该天线在小型四单元MIMO天线系统中同时实现高隔离度和多频阻抗带宽;一种耦合馈电的印制PIFA MIMO天线,耦合馈电方式和该MIMO天线所采用的一种新型隔离结构,实现了阻抗带宽和隔离度的独立可控。

Design of MIMO Phone Antenna

Abstract: During recent years, multiple-input–multiple-output (MIMO) technology has been attracted by many researchers for its tremendous potential in capacity and performance, one of the key techniques of MIMO is the design of MIMO phone antennas. The overview on the design of MIMO antennas is presented in this paper. The challenges of the design of MIMO antennas are: reducing the mutual coupling between elements, widening bandwidth while keeping the compact antenna size. Based on the previous research, several MIMO antennas suitable for phone system are designed: a compact dual-band MIMO antenna using the two-strip structure to improve the impedance matching, and the slit etching on the ground plane and the perpendicular placement of two elements to reduce the mutual coupling cased by the surface ground current and the near-field respectively; a compact wideband MIMO antenna using two novel bent slits to suppress the mutual coupling and widen the impedance bandwidth; a compact tri-band four-element MIMO antenna with high isolation and multi-band; a coupled-fed printed PIFAs using the coupled-fed and a novel isolation structure to control the impedance bandwidth and isolation independently.

摘 要 大口面高增益天线是太空探索,卫星通信,和许多军事应用系统中的关键部件。自90年代以来,平面反射阵天线作为新一代的高增益天线,开始吸引了广泛的关注和研究。平面反射阵天线采用空间馈电结构和灵活的单元相位调节方式,有效地结合了抛物面天线和相控阵天线的优点,具有高效率,低剖面,重量轻,成本低,以及灵活多样的辐射特性。本文将介绍平面反射阵天线的基本工作原理,讨论宽带和多频设计,波束赋形和波束扫描的方法,探索其在卫星和空间通信,毫米波和太赫兹空间功率合成等方面的应用。

Reflectarray Antennas: Theory, Design, and Applications

Abstract: Large-aperture high-gain antennas are critical components in wireless communication systems for space exploration, satellite communications, and many military applications. Since 1990’s, reflectarray antennas as a new generation of high-gain antennas have attracted growing attentions. Using the space feeding technique and individual element phase control method, reflectarray antennas effectively integrate the advantages of parabolic reflectors and phased array antennas, namely, high efficiency, low profile, lightweight, low cost, and versatile radiation functionalities. This paper will review the operation principle of reflectarrays, discuss the wideband/multi-band designs and beam shaping/scanning approaches, and presents their applications in satellite/space communications as well as spatial power combining at mm-wave and THz ranges.

摘 要 本文介绍了实现30-512MHz频段垂直极化全向天线的两种方案,第一种基于鞭状线天线自组构技术,采用分频段的套筒和振子天线,通过低通高阻和高通低阻频率自适应选择网路,将两天线并接实现30-512MHz的全向天线;第二种采用多点串联集中电感加载技术,实现天线的宽带化和小型化,并举行了优化设计和制作,测试结果表明,天线天线高度只有2.2米,且具有良好的驻波比性能、增益性能,全向性能。

Research on V/UHF Ultra-wideband Omni Antennas

Abstract: Two schemes of vertical polarized Omni antenna covering the band of 30-512MHz are presented in this paper. The first scheme adopts self-fabric technology by interlinking cascaded whip antenna and sleeve antenna. Inductance loading technology is introduced in the second scheme for broad band and miniaturization. Measured results show that fabricated antenna owns good performance in return loss, gain and radiation patterns with a length of only 2.2 meter.
